Theater of War

I worked on the documentary film, Brothers at War, as an Assistant Editor a few years ago.

It's finally out in the theaters, with Gary Sinise and Norman Powell credited as Executive Producers. The director/filmmaker, Jake Rademacher, produced the film from an actor's perspective in the interest of better understanding what his brothers were going through as soldiers in Iraq.

The film has garnered a positive response, especially from families with loved ones in the military. The documentary process is an atypical method of immersing (or wallowing) in nostalgia, but what else are films for anyway, besides to immortalize the intangible? I have a cousin that was in Iraq, and I sent him a care package after I worked on this film. This is the trailer.
