Both Jean-Luc Godard and Francois Truffaut were journalists that wrote for the cinema publication Cahiers du Cinema before they were film directors. I actually own a copy of "Hitchcock", by Truffaut, an interview/film analysis on Alfred Hitchcock that was published in the '80s.

Vintage Wear for a Pie-Maker


I am a fan of actress Anna Friel's wardrobe on "Pushing Daisies", mostly '50s era pieces like full skirts, wide-brimmed hats and Greta Garbo sunglasses, along with floral prints. The occasional dash of mod and bright make-up match the tone of the show itself, which is peppy and upbeat with a dark side lurking in the shadows. Presumably, that is, adorning black Garbo shades.
